National Capital Region

NCRThe National Capital Region in India comprises the entire area of Delhi, both Old and New, and some of the urban areas of its neighboring states Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. It is the second largest city in India.

However only Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida are currently considered as the prominent real estate markets. Delhi has been home to many multinational corporations and national business houses, which gradually expanded to include adjacent cities. These corporations, in turn, have attracted a large number of people from various parts of the country, in search of employment. Additionally, being a city with immense historical, architectural and tourist attractions, Delhi pulls in a huge number of domestic and international tourists. The growth in the local and the floating population of the city has been positively impacting the retail landscape, resulting in a shift from the traditional hotspots of Chandni Chowk, Connaught Place, Karol Bagh to areas such as Vasant Kunj, M.G. Road and Galleria in Gurgaon, and Sector 18 in Noida.
